So do I, and we don't have front plates in NC.  But it was almost worth 
it.  Topless down the mountain on US 421 from Boone, NC on a crisp Sunday 
morning!  Knew he had me cause my radar detector went off (darn that 
"Instant On" stuff).  Ever try to talk a trooper out of a ticket with your 
radar detector in clear view on your dash and everybody you just dusted 
coming down the mountain honking as they go by?  Don't bother!!
