Seems that it would, since the density of air is related to the altitude, and the amount of boost (in psi) that the supoercharger generates is what determines your power increase. If the air is less dense, then you get less boost and less power (I guess...?) Of course, it would still provide a substantial power advantage over normal aspiration.
