Well, I broke down and spent about 3 times what I was planning to spend. I went
whole hog on the entire CLEARWATER ensemble!

Monday, 10:25am - Mark arrives at Motorsports in Orange, CA.

        10:35am - Mark emerges with Clearwater door speakers and
                  Clearwater Headrest speakers in hand.

        11:15am - Mark finishes installing both door speakers and all
                  headrest speakers IN THE PARKING LOT at Motorsports.

        11:20am - Mark begins "roadtesting" the sound on the streets
                  in Orange County.

Mark notices that the headrest speakers are EXTREMELY efficient and need VERY
little volume to really sound sweet.  On the downside, Mark notices that the
door speakers need about 30% more volume knob turn to get the equivelent level
of volume output compared to the stock door speakers.

        11:50am - Mark returns to Motorsports.

        11:55am - Mark leaves Motorsports with Clearwater Amplifier
                  in hand.

        12:00pm - Mark begins drive home to San Diego, all the while
                  trying various CDs.  Mark is smiling ear to ear but
                  he is very glad he purchased the amp because the volume
                  control is sitting at about the 4 o'clock position to get
                  enough volume to hear above traffic.

         2:15pm - Mark arrives home and begins dismantling appropriate
                  sections of Miata to prepare for install of Clearwater
                  Amp.

         4:15pm - Mark finishes install of amp.  Mark powers up system and
                  slips in Celine Dion CD and selects track 1 -- The
                  Power of Love.

Mark cranks up the volume and immediately notices a huge improvement!  Bass
response (while EXCELLENT even without the amp) is now improved by another
factor of say 50%.  Mark turns volume up to about 2 o'clock position. Sound is
EXTREMELY loud and VERY clean and clear.  Absolutely ZERO distortion!  Mark
can't stop smiling!  Mark is pleased...to say the least.

         4:30pm - Mark gets out of car and does a double-take.  Car has
                  now moved about 3 feet without starting engine!  

         5:30pm - Mark and Cathy go out to dinner (just an excuse to
                  roadtest the new Amp/Speaker/Spectre triple).
                  Mark and Cathy are rocking!

        10:00pm - Mark logs onto CIS/Miataville to post this message and
                  give his full and heart-felt recommendation for ALL
                  of CLEARWATER'S products!  They are a class act and
                  put together fantastic products.

(Mark wants to sleep in car tonight!  :-))
