Please pardon this basic question if it has been asked before. 

I am new to the list and would like to know if I can comfortably fit into
one of these wonderful cars. I am of average build, 6' 1" without shoes. I
used to own a Triumph Spitfire many years ago...and had no trouble getting
inside of it.

Any observations on the Miata interior space would really help me...especially
since I absolutely dread dealing with car salespersons!
