I heard on the radio (NPR) this morning that Mazda's sales were down 20% in
March compared to last year.  Ouch.  Eventhough many manufacturers are down
because last year was very big, mazda it sounds is doing especially badly.

The yen's strenght hurts mazda more than H*nda and Toy*ta, et al. because 50% of
mazda's sales are exports while the others can compensate by making more cars
in their American plants.

If we want our happy miatas to live into the future, we better start talking
up Protoge's, 626's, Milleniums, and MPV's to all our friends and neighbors.
