There's been a LOT of stuff on the net, RE: Removing the tiedowns from your Miata so they can't be used to tie down the car, should it have to be moved someplace (e. g., Bob Jones' move story). As I understand it, the cars are secured using these points, when they come across on the boat. Why is it no longer good form to use these points to tie the car down, when it gets to the USA? (I can understand the business about towing the car using these points, but that's different.) --jack M. & KANSEI--
