I use much lower pressures all around on BFG 230 compound tires, like 22-24 psi. Oh, and you can take the pressure down to about 5 psi before the tires start looking low. I tried it with my previous worn-out set. Of course you shouldn't do this with tires you're going to be driving on; pressures that low can disturb the seating of the bead on the rim. I did it at the place I got my new tires mounted, because the guys there were also curious. We then took that rim off the car and mounted a new tire. -- Ken *=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=* Ken Warren E-Mail: kenw@netaxs.com *=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=* Philly region auto-x is over for the year.
