Mark Mark, He was both, I had not mentioned his name on the net, although it was easy to find it in the Magazine. He got wind of the Silver coming out in March 90 and went to the dealer and asked to change his order to Silver to which the dealer replied "We don't make a Silver and don't plan on making one". He replied, "Ok, but if one comes in it's mine right?" According to the title he gave me , he was the cars first owner with 12 miles in Feb of 1990, which made him the first kid on his block with a Silver one. This was kind of lore and legend with his family, along with the cover photograph. I wanted the car regardless of her Cover Girl status, but thought it would be a nice touch. I am starting to wonder what happened to all of the other Cover Girls. I am thinking about someday trying to contact their owners using the Magazine credits and through the Miata Club. I haven't a clue why I care, I guess it's just idol curiosity. If any one knows, let me know. ( It helps that I have bonked my head so many times while working on cars)
