           Hello Geoffrey,
           I found that plastic in a textile shop where they sell fabric.  I 
           know it is very easy to find in this area, but you probably have that 
           kind of store in your area.  As some people where saying there are 
           some sprays but I wouldn't try that myself in case it would create 
           some spots...    If you find the plastic, bring it to a upholstering 
           shop (that has experience in this kind of thing)  And here you go

           i'm not sure it will help me (since you're up there & i'm
        down here!) but where did you find tinted replacement window 
        plastic? i've asked several (well-regarded) "top shops" & been 
        told "nope, only clear window vinyl is available"
           i even wondered if there's anything to tint (the existing)
        clear vinyl. any thots?
