Jeannie -

Remember that Wendy's nose isn't metal - it's plastic, and thus it is
radar-transparent.  Visualize a Miata with all the plastic panels
removed, and you'll see how radar sees it (for the most part) - in
this case, a bit of the frame and the radiator, which aren't your
most radar absorbing materials.

Radar shouldn't have any problem with detecting any current car
design.
