Dennis,

I took out my cat (and also the piece of exhaust with the infamous 
heatshields) about a month ago. In its place i put a pipe from the header to 
the "catback". I don't know what will happen when I have to get the car 
checked (not until next summer). 

As for results, the car is absolutely faster. It definately gets faster to 
the redline. I highly recommend it !
