Interesting question Jeff. Looking at local tire stores has taught me they
carry *none* of these "unusual sized V & Z rated tires".
Also, C&D and R&T magazines carry other discount tire companies, but no help
on 55 series 14" tires that I can find.
And no H series tires this size.
BTW the local tire chain store guy actually *laughed* when I asked for this
size. He checked his inventory computer and the only thing they listed was
the R 71 Bridgestone and there were "zero" in stock at any store. One
interesting thing he did show me on his comp. screen - cost for the R 71
(195/55/14) was:
$86.50 each. Said he would sell them for "about 118 each".
But they must be ordered and "who knows how long it might take to get them".
