Not quite all.  Here in rainy California I went to two dealers when I
bought my '95.  They both had 3 or 4 base models sitting on the lot and
the MSRP stickers had a base price of either $17,000 or $17,500 (can't
remember which).  And both dealers were quite willing to dicker on price.

Obviously, geographic areas vary greatly.  Still, it could make it worth
your while to fly out here and pick one up.  Then you'd be *forced* to
take a long, back-road drive all the way back to Maine.  Too bad!
