From: Mike Lastort Subject: STOP IT WITH THE MUSIC LISTS!!! Date: Thu, 4 May 1995 13:36:04 -0400
With all this recent talk of subwoofers and headrest speakers, I felt it my duty to post my list of CD's again. 1. The Ramones - All The Stuff (And More) Volume One, which is actually their first two albums, "The Ramones," and "Leave Home" on one CD, plus some never before released live tracks. 2. The Ramones - All The Stuff (And More) Volume Two, which is actually their third and fourth albums, "Rocket To Russia," and "Road To Ruin" on one CD, plus never before released live tracks. We're going to go see them at Hammerjacks tomorrow night. Anyone else here on the list going? Gabba Gabba Hey!!! 3. Grateful Dead - American Beauty. I bet you wonder how that got in there! 4. The Rolling Stones - Exile On Main St. IMO, the best album they ever put out. 5. MC5 - Kick Out The Jams. If the Ramones invented punk, then these guys invented the Ramones. 6. X - Los Angeles - Wild Gift. Another double CD set, containing LA post-punk early '80 rock. And for those of you out there who are old rock'n'roll die-hards who think the punk movement had no talent, this is produced by former member of the Doors, Ray Manzarek. So, did anyone figure out a good way to get more bass boost yet? Mike Lastort '93 Blue (hell, I'll join a Mariner Blue registry) Team Voodoo member
