Eddie,

I believe that most lessors will be glad to sell you the car at
any time during the lease term.

However, you'll most likely have to pay the residual plus all
the payments remaining in the original term. 

You can always try haggling a bit; if your lessor is Mazda itself, 
that will probably be futile, but, if it's a third-party company, 
it might work.
