Matt, I'm jumping into this topic a bit later, but I have a BEL615STi mounted
*inside* the nose cone of my car.  All of the wiring is fully concealed and a
cop looking under the hood couldn't find it without spending five hours
dissassembling the car.  The remote unit velcros to the top of the steering
column where you can see it and anyone outside can't.  You can then stow it if
you get busted.  I love it!  I'd be happy to give you more details in E-Mail
