From: Pat_McCartin@learnlink.emory.edu (Pat McCartin) Subject: Stealth Radar RESPONSE Date: Mon, 1 May 1995 22:06:22 -0400
Well everyone, It wasn't I who wrote about the BEL ST615i but rather Sean, aka jules@learnlink.emory.edu He told me he paid around $215.00 for the unit complete with laser antenna. Sean brought the unit and car over to me for instalation. We comenced to dismantel his car in the garage, removing both front tires, inner fender wells, and front nose. Then we mounted the main antenna to the front bumper underneath the plastic nose and routed the wires back thru the fire wall. The head was placed on top of the steernig column with velcro, the laser antenna was placed on the back-side of the inside rear view mirror with double stick tape and the wire routed around the drivers side of the windshield. The whole job took about 4 hours and was very tedious. Any way just had to fill ya'll in. Pat -- /========/ LearnLink: Expanding Educational Horizons !! !! !!
