I would also be interested in finding out how to change the illumination to the more pleasing amber. Also, I'm wondering why the intensity adjustment (volume control, brightness level, etc.?) doesn't allow the illumination to go completely off? I've always had it set to minimum but it's still brighter than I care for. Greg W.
