Two things I have found fantastic for interior dust: 

1. A 2" paint brush....gets in the cracks crevices as well as the flats.

2. An air compressor. Compressed air will find dust and dirt you can't 
   see but you can smell... I prefer the smell of leather. (sorry) ;)

	The two used together with the top down will completely clean the 
whole car including under the seats and all around the top storage area 
in five minutes tops. This is of course after the large objects like 
gravel have been removed... We don't want our Miata to be stoned.
