While this is the Miata conference after all, I wondered
who has seen the pictures of the new....
-Fiat Barchetta. Front wheel drive, but nice Italian looks.
-MGF. I don't think this is a convertible.
Automobile magazine has two nice photo's of the above. I really
like the Fiat, and think back to some fond experiences with a
borrowed 124 Spyder (it ran well while I had it) which got me
into a Miata years later.

I still wonder what the BMW is going to look like. I've seen the
"mule" photos where they have captured test cars that have been
heavily disguised it seems with duct tape and fake body parts.
Any of you Carolina Miata folks seen any outside the new factory?

Oh yes, Automobile also mentioned the 40th anniversary of the
Isetta. I saw one once, and will never forget it. Put an electric
motor in it, and it's the car of the 21st century. I'll still
have my Miata.
