Do I have to take any suspension >parts or other stuff before I access to OilPan? I've never done it myself, but I think I read in either the Shop Manual or the Enthusiasts Manual that the engine had to be pulled to replace the oil pan. Bummer. I smashed an oil pan on my '72 Pinto when I was young and foolish (hey, I was driving a Pinto!) Goofing around, I pulled into the neighbor's (who didn't like me) driveway, and smashed the pan and the pump on a one inch lip between the sidewalk and the driveway. Got halfway up the driveway before I could stop. It was a laugh a minute, down on my hands and knees with a wire brush and a can of Gunk, trying to clean up the mess. Almost as humiliating as driving a Pinto! Douglas Dinsmoor Red '90 A Cambridge, MA
