Aengus MacIntosh asks about cellphones in Miatas.  Kansei had a mount and
coax installed for one, when we bought it.  That was about the first thing I
did, was to take all that crap out of the car.  The mount had been installed
where the "coin holder" or blank plate goes on the console.  The phone base
attachment plate was still there, with a ball joint mount to the console
blank plate.  Had to get a new plate, since the old one had phone mount
holes in it.  (And then I drilled holes in the new one, to mount the cruise
control switch - go figure.)
 
Anyway, to each his/her/its own, but count me among members of "team no
phone in my Miata."
