Greetings all!

David DeNuzzo here. Well, this fabulous weekend is almost here. Cars from all
over the West will be converging on this resort hotel just outside of
Coalinga. So far we expect about 80 cars from 8 different Miata Club
chapters. And Tom Matano! Moss Motors will even be there with some goodies
for sale. Our T-shirts have been printed up in three different colors and
they may be the only shirts around with a Miata, a Palm Tree, and a COW! on
them. Everyone is getting real excited. Groups will be leaving Friday morning
from Sacramento (McDonald's Sunrise@Zinfandel), the Bay Area (Golfland in
Milpitas), and Southern CA (). Others will be leaving Friday afternoon and
Saturday Morning. It's not too late to join us, and rooms are still
available. Harris Ranch is located off I-5 at Hwy. 198 in Central CA.

I'm looking forward to seeing some of you there!

The focus of the weekend is relaxing and sitting by the pool. Here is a
schedule of events:

--- Friday - June 2, 1995 ---

- Morning - 
o Depart various cities throughout the West. Harris Ranch or bust! Moooo.

- Afternoon -
o Arrive at Harris Ranch & check in.
o Wash your car. There will be a hose, bucket, and even soap provided! See
the hotel desk for details.
o If you want to eat dinner at the Ranch, you will need reservations. Check
with your club regarding your group's dinner reservations, or make you own.
o Sit by the pool! Ladies and gentlemen, start your tans!
o Vendors will be set up and open for business near the Terrace Room and in
the parking lot. Check out Moss Motors. Buy  some T-shirts & souvenirs. Get
your air horns installed!

- 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM, 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM -
o Harris Ranch Event Registration. Get your name badge, T-shirts,
announce-ments, and other goodies. In the lobby.

--- Saturday - June 3, 1995 ---

- Morning -
o Harris Ranch Event Registration. Get your name badge, T-shirts,
announce-ments, and other goodies. In the lobby.

- All day -
o Vendors will be set up and open for business near the Terrace Room and in
the parking lot. Check out Moss Motors. Buy  some T-shirts & souvenirs. Get
your air horns installed!
o Sit by the pool! It's Prime Tanning Hour!

- 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM -
o Buckin' BAMA Funkana in the parking lot. Go for the fun! Go for the glory!

- 10:30 AM to 12:00 Noon o
o Fun Run in the Sun. See exciting Coalinga and other towns, lots of oil
wells, and who knows what else! Wave at the horses, honk at the cows. Departs
from in front of the hotel.

- 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM -
o Reception in the main ballroom. Appetizers provided by Oak Tree Mazda. No
host bar.

- 5:30 PM -
o Welcome remarks by SAMOA and  Oak Tree Mazda.
o Awards ceremony (with prizes!) for the Buckin' BAMA Funkana.
o Celebrity Guest Speaker.

- 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM -
o Dinner with your group or on your own. Reservations for the Harris Ranch
restaurant are required.

- 8:30 PM - 9:30 PM -
o Line Dance instruction with the SJVMC's Greg Almeida in the main ballroom.

- 9:30 PM - 1:00 AM -
o Dancing and partying in the main ballroom with Live DJ.

- 1:00 AM - 3:00 AM -
o Hot tub endurance contest in the hot tub!

--- Sunday - June 4, 1994 ---

- 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM -
o Poolside games and contests with VROOM. Prizes & awards presented.

- 11:00 AM -
o Closing remarks by SAMOA and Oak Tree Mazda by the pool.
o Check out and go home. Boo!
