I saw your mail to Ed McGee that he posted to the Miata mailing list at 
large. I can appreciate where you're coming from, but I must disagree 
with your desire to silence threads of discussion that you're not 
interested in. New people, and even those of us who aren't so new, don't 
really need to be told what we can and cannot discuss, even if it's been 
discussed before. 

This list is pretty loose in terms of "netiquette," and we really don't 
need someone telling us to look up the archives. FWIW, I've been on the 
'Net myself for about 5 years, so I subscribe to several moderated 
newsgroups and listserves. The Miata list, in case you haven't noticed, 
is unmoderated. I for one would like to keep it that way.
