As a follow up on my oil filter mess problem, the correct answer is...
(may I have the envelope please) disposable diapers!  I put one of those
puppies under the filter and presto, it picked up every drop, with room
to spare.  Another thing I did after I pulled the drain plug was to jack
up one side of the car, wait awhile, and then jack up the other side
of the car.  You would be suprised by the amount of oil that came out.
The only problem with this though, after I started the car to run the new
oil through the motor, I turned it off and looked at the dip stick.  It
looked like there was no oil at all 8-O  I guess it was too darn clear to
be visible!  The "touch test" proved my theory.

Anyway, thanks for the tip.
