It makes the difference between sitting at home, or a client site, working (or checking the list :) ) at the computer, and hitting the backroads while the sun is shining. If it rings, well, that's a nuisance, but at least I've had all that driving beforehand. Then there was the time when I was sailing through the tide rips in Discovery Channel -- no, not in the Miata -- holding (desperately) onto the tiller with one hand and the gunwale with the other, and the phone rang; it was a salesguy from DEC wanting to discuss my server needs... To inject a more technical note into this, has anyone installed a cellular phone mount in their Miata? I just carry my flip-phone, but occasionally think it would be nice to *not* need a hand for the phone, a hand for the wheel, and a hand for the shifter. But where would one put the damn thing?
