Hey, thanks for the tip. I'm about ready to try it! Actually, after 2 days on jack-stands I came to the conclusion that the rattle seems to be coming from the catalytic converter itself. I know that there was a recall for early cats., but the previous owner declined to have it replaced. Hope that doesn't ruin my chance to get it replaced free.
