Robb, I just purchased a buffer last weekend. Sears had one for about $50. Did the 3 step meguires thing on saturday. I only used the buffer to apply the various waxes, etc. The buffer came with 2 terrycloth covers, so while using one I would wash and dry the other. Some of the curves on the miata made it tough to use, but on the whole it helped speed things up. Took about 4-5 hours and looks great.
