Dear Miatians:

    My 90 Miata (about 33,000 miles) has been in the shop (which is another
story) with transmission problems three times within the past 10-12 months.
Since it is out of warranty I've had to pay nearly $2,300 for what apparently
is the same transmission problem.  The vehicle is "babied" and only two
middle-aged individuals drive it.  Have any of you in Miata-cyberspace had
transmission problems.   In addition, I have felt that I've been treated
unfairly since I had to pay $1700 the second time around after paying over $500
the first time.  All of this occurred within a 10-12 month period while the
work from the service department carried a 1 year/12,000 mile warranty which
was not honored by the local Mazda dealer.

    Any suggestions as to where I can register my complaint.
