Subject: Great NoCal Trip!

We just returned from a great trip to NoCal. Although we couldn't rent a
Miata, we had a nice convertabile, and MORE THAN 500 MILES OF
TWISTY/TURNIES!! Sorry to shout, but I really missed my Miata for that alone.
If you are in for a multiple day drive I recommend it to anyone. Route: SFO
up Hwy 1 along the coast to Ft. Bragg - Along coast then thru Avenue of the
Giants, then back across mountains to coast to Eureka.

>From Eureka a great scenic trip across the mountains on Hwy 299 to Redding.
Then across the peach filled valley and up into the mountains, thru Donner
Pass to Lake Tahoe.
>From Tahoe we journeyed thru Reno up the mountains again to Virginia City.
Then back thru Carson City to the east side of Lake Tahoe. I'll bet we didn't
see 100 miles of straight road on the whole trip.

Thanks to all for their advice and suggested routes. If you are any where
near NoCal you should do at least the first part to Eureka. Wow!
