I am EXTREMELY pleased with the sound. It is a tremendous improvement over stock. HOWEVER...at this time, I recommend you contact Clearwater BEFORE purchasing these speakers. I, and some others, have had problems with the tweeters becoming unglued from the center post. This does not appear to affect the sound quality but I find it disheartening nonetheless. Clearwater has stated that they are looking at this issue and are taking steps to assure it does not happen any more. They have already replaced my speakers once (the second set did the same thing) and have promised to replace them again when they finally find a glue strong enough or a design that will help avoid the problem. I am getting slightly concerned about the fix as it has been close to 1 month since I was told a "super glued" set would be sent to me. I am concerned that they have completely forgotten about me. BTW, this only affects Clearwater's HEADREST speakers. I also have Clearwater's door speakers and they are also fantastic with no construction problems!
