Here it is again, the 6 CD's currently in the trunk. We just joined Columbia House's Jazz Heritage collection not too long ago, and received a shipment of three CD's yesterday. Hence the jazz influence in the changer this week. 1. Grover Washington Jr. - Mister Magic - a jazz classic from 1975. I can remember listening to this when I was a kid trying to learn the sax. The first of the Columbia House stuff I just got. 2. The Unplugged Collection, Volume One - a compilation of live Emtpy V performances by Stevie Ray Vaughn, R.E.M., 10,000 Manaics, Paul McCartney, and others. This is new to me, so I have no review of it just yet. 3. Ramsey Lewis - Sun Goddess - another from the Columbia House Jazz Collection. I've also never heard this one. 4. The Very Nest of Elvis Costello And The Attractions - Also new to me, but I certainly know most of the songs. 5. Earl Klugh - Living Inside Your Love - number three from Columbia House. I don't think I've listened to this since my 8-track broke back in about 1979. 6. 4 Non Blondes - Bigger, Better, Faster, More! - the only CD out of the 6 that isn't new. Nice rich sound, good lyrics.
