Engine oil drain plug is not magnetic....Darn. The transmission plug has a 
magnet inserted into the plug. Stuff that collected on mine was like fine 
grey polishing paste...a little thicker than toothpaste. I collected my 
oil into a 2 litre Coke bottle. After sitting on the shelf for a month 
the bottom has like a 1/4 inch of this goo settled out. I think I will 
change again next year just to clean everything out.
