Tom Manson notes his thoughts on removing the plastic cover under the front of the engine. (Hi, Tom!) Tom theorizes that this might aid cooling airflow a bit, but might decrease air pressure under the car. Well, I dunno - if it increases the airflow through the radiator, and there are no outlets for that air through the hood or wheel wells/fenders, it would seem that the increased air flow would result in more air under the car. Also, (and again, I dunno) the plastic shield may create a slight venturi effect and accelerate the air flow under the car, to increase down force slightly particularly at the front end of the car at speed. This is interesting - anyone else on this? --Jack M. & KANSEI--
