Well, the guy that backed into me as I followed him out of a parking lot (he decided the oncoming traffic needed more room than the 1 1/2 lanes it already had) on Saturday apparently couldn't see me. This had less to do with the fact that he was driving a Bronco, though, than that he didn't turn around to look before backing up. I leaned on the horn (stock -- gotta get airs), but that didn't alert him either. Crunch, ouch. We get out, look at the damage -- none to the Bronco, dings in my front bumper -- he admits fault, says do him a favour, call him when I've got the quote 'cause he'd like not to do it through insurance. I get the quote today (~$285 Canadian), phone him this evening: "Well, I've been thinking about it and I feel I'm not to blame because you got behind me awfully fast"! So, tomorrow I get to spend lots of time with insurance adjusters. Jerk.
