Jack mentions his 100,000 mile turbo car...

We met Hans (can't remember the last name) at a Porsche club autocross last
Sunday. We made a daring daylight raid into Porsche territory with 8 or 9
Miatas.  Hans has 147,000 miles on his turbo Miata, and he regularly
autocrosses it. It is a little bizarre looking with 13"wheels and slicks, but
goes pretty damn fast.  He installed the turbo at 120,000.  His intent was to
rebuild first, but after checking leakdown and compression decided not to
bother....
