They seem unable to put an event together, and when they do, it is generally very ad hoc. They had a Rhinebeck event scheduled back in May which was mentioned in the DelVal newsletter. When I called to get info on where to meet (this was about a week before the event), Dave Altman, the President, didn't know what I was talking about. I said, "Don't you have a Rhinebeck event scheduled next Sunday?" He said no, that it was cancelled since the Aerodrome didn't open until the following month. They never researched it before trying to schedule it. This isn't the first time they've done stuff like that. Then he proceeded to ask me why I wasn't a Big Apple member. Rather than get angry about what a schlock operation they were running and why I should pay $25/year when they have no events, I just muttered something about already being a DelVal member. The guy voiced no enthusiasm, didn't try telling me about other events, and basically couldn't to care less that I was interested. > (2) How do you tell which feature package (A, B, C, R, M?) the car came > with?
