I believe it. A couple of years ago My wife and I were in Santa Fe and met a couple from the Netherlands who flew into Chicago, rented a car, and drove what is left of 66 to L.A. Apparently there are a lot of Route 66 fans in their country, and travel agents there often set up similar trips. Miata content: It would be a lovely drive in a Miata, especially in the mountains of New mexico. Not to mention a side trip through the high desert of eastern Oregon.
