WOW am I far behind on the list... 

Anyway, from a couple of decades spent removing obstinate bolts, I highly
reccomend a good set of "Vice Grips".   Don't use 'em for everyday bolt
stuff, but DO use them to break loose a stuck one.   Clamp it on REAL tight,
and there's just no way it's gonna slip and round off the head.
