I have a 2 1/2" SuperTrapp (ST) and and pipe which I am very happy with.  A 
little loud but it is tunable for sound level and power.  I like the rasp.

Note: Pre 94 has a 2" inch cat and the larger pipe probably will not help 
much.  The 94-95 pipe is a 2 1/2" pipe.  I had (still have in my garage) a 
2" pipe and ST from my 91.  It was much quieter and still gave good 
response.  I have driven other Miatas with different pipes and feel the ST 
flows and sounds better.
