Subject: Loose velcro strips

Previous posts about velcro strips/zipper ends/middle ribs coming unglued
(unbonded) from the top mentioned using 3M Fast Tack to repair. I have tried
Fast Tack Trim Adhesive part #08031 with completely unsatisfactory results.
Is there more than one formulation of Fast Tack or should I try something
else?

I called the Mazda 800# and was told that the Miata is not covered by the
proposed recall but that they would contact the local service manager to try
and work something out. He called about a week later and told me that Kansas
law requires a 10 year warrantee on seat belts and that Mazda would replace
the buckle. Am waiting for it to come in.
