I have a set of MB Quart 215CX, in sealed .3 cu/ft enclosures mounted in the door.. They extend to 20Hz all day..(for a 5.25) I SERIOUSLY doubt that anyone would prefer a Clearwater over a high-end component system such as BA or MB Quart.. What is an "Off-the shelf speaker" anyway? Go have a listen to some nice speakers before you waste money on hype. Musicality and realism are much more important.. If you are using a stock head unit, bass response isn't there b/c the head clips at 3/4 volume and hasn't the power to drive the speakers.. Brian Porter Net Daemons Associates, Inc.
