Carla, The HOLIDAY INN is directly across the street from the Sheraton (and is owned by the same company). The Holiday Inn is the "official" Gold Rush overflow hotel. Since the Holiday Inn Gold Rush rate is $79, Cathy and I opted for the $89 rate at the Sheraton anyway. That room is on the concierge level and includes a few additional spiffs. However, one reservations person I spoke with quoted me $89 for the basic room (all $69 rooms were gone) while the next day another quoted me $89 for the concierge level. We jumped on it.
