Wife and I have planned a "leaf turning" October weekend in Gatlinburg, meeting my daughter and her husband, and, weather permitting, we want to do a "top-down tour" of the Smokies and general area. I would appreciate any tips, recommendations, etc. that will, undoubtedly, make our trip even more enjoyable. I've heard there are some "non-tourist" off the beaten path roads in the Smokies and/or Gatlinburg area that are perfect for top-down touring; therefore, if true, would someone be so kind to provide some directions, sources of info, fun things to do, etc.? Please respond directly, because, for whatever reason, the Miata Digests always seem to be too large for my PC's capacity - why is it that I always get a Windows message, when opening the daily digests, that states the following: "The message is too large to fit into memory all at once. Some of will not be displayed." I end up losing some portion of each digest, and, since I've got a Dell pentium with 640K memory, 15360K EXT, 12988K XMS, and a 514MB hard disk, why is that? Help, someone! Thanks in advance. Paul Haller paul.haller@lexis-nexis.com
