Your dealership probably screwed up the idle speed. 1700rpms is way too high. The idle is realy easy to adjust -- connect a jumper between GND and TEN on the diagnostic connector on the driver's side of the engine compartment. Then adjust the idle to 850 RPMS or thereabouts, by turning the idle air adjustment screw which is under a little rubber cap on top of the throttle body. For some reason, even when the idle is badly maladjusted, it will often seem OK with the jumper disconnected -- maybe the jumper disables the idle control system among other things.
