Interesting, the warnings for the airbag. In the space business we have very specific design criteria for explosive squibs like those used in gas generators like the airbag. For instance they have to be able to remain safe with a 1 Amp, 1 Watt source current. Thus if you were to use an ohmmeter on one of our mil-spec devices it would remain safe.
