Actually, my motorcycle is my primary vehicle. The Miata is the "date" vehicle. When I need to take someone with me, I take the Miata. Otherwise, my moto does 0-60 in 3 seconds and gets 50 miles per gallon. Why would I drive anything else? By the way, my insurance agent says that there is no problem with claims on a recreational vehicle that is used during the week. He told me that "recreational" status just meant that you drove less than 10,000 miles a year, and that State Farm had no reason to tell you *where* to drive those miles. I have a friend who owns an 83 Tercel, and a 90 Mustang GT. He has the same arrangement that I do, except he only drives the Mustang. He has had SEVERAL claims on the Mustang, and at no time had State Farm ever grumbled about his use of his "recreational" vehicle. Remember Jack, different agents of the same company are able to do very different things. Maybe you should check with another SF agent. I would suggest talking to one through a friend. I have made several calls to my agent on the behalf of friends and was able to find them very nice deals.
