Frank Potter writes of his experience with recently installed Redline MTL v. the earlier Amsoil in his transmission. Perfect timing, Frank! I just went through exactly the same thing. Had the local oil change place install it Thurs., Aug. 31 while doing the std. 3,333 mile oil & filter change. Didn't get a chance to drive it till tonite (09-01). I believe it smooths the shifts a little bit over the old Amsoil, and at the time I had the Amsoil put in, I didn't notice any appreciable difference. Net result: Some slight improvement with Redline MTL over Amsoil or original gear lube. This seems to vary all over the place, with most claiming fantastic improvements, and some of us seeing little or no change. I've noticed the same with subframe braces too. As for me, I've seen no discernible change in feel with the Brainstorm front brace, and maybe a little bit more solid feel with the track bar in the rear. So: Are you guys who are seeing/feeling the major improvements just being psyched out? Or are your cars in such bad shape that such changes produce major improvements? Or is my butt too numb to detect any of this? --jack M. & KANSEI--
