     Welcome to the Miata net!  Don't believe anything anyone here tells 
     you about me (unless, of course, it's positive).

     Yes.  Turn your stereo up and/or rev the engine higher.

     Look on the web page or the FAQ re: paint/finish.  Meguiar's is the 
     best I've found.  I like their liquid polish because even with as 
     small a car as the Miata my arms get tired using the paste wax!  If 
     you still have problems, take your car to a reputable auto 
     detailer...for $60-75 they'll do a beautiful job and give you 
     inspiration for future waxing!

     If you've already checked your gas hoses for leaks (moisture on hoses 
     after a drive around the block is the telltale), try sprinkling baking 
     soda in the trunk to absorb the odor.  Even though you haven't been 
     overfilling (topping off) the tank, it takes a LONG TIME for the gas 
     odor to go away!  I speak from experience.... :(
     
     Most importantly, keep the shiny side up!
