Congratulate me!
I just successfully replaced that water pump that I trashed.  I ended up 
getting the replacement (factory) pump at a dealer's parts department for 
$93.xx -15% +5% tax = $83.xx.  I'm satisfied that I didn't get ripped 
off.  It's a slightly more complex pump than the old Detroit iron parts.
That makes three times in two months that I've had the front end of that 
engine apart.  I feel like a pro at it (although I'm far from it).
